Karina is acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) of VIPASA. with more than 15 years of experience in the development and environmental, social, and productive management of businesses in the areas:
forestry, livestock, renewable energy, and real estate (2009 to date). She was Director of Management of the Investment and Export Network – REDIEX of Paraguay (2007-2009). Karina was also Chief of Staff of the Undersecretary of State for Commerce of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay (2006-2007). From 1999-2006, she has been involved in international cooperation projects of the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in the design and development of Protection Policy tools for Consumer, and Technical Management of International Trade Negotiations of Paraguay. Karina holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Systems Analyst and MBA from the American University of Paraguay.
